Capito was established in 1990, primarily as a hardware reseller to service the local commercial and Public Sector market in Scotland.

After several successful years building a strong reputation and significant market share, the management team began to transition the business strategy away from its traditional IT equipment reselling roots, to focus on a more profitable ICT solutions based and services led company.

This transformation was extremely successful and allowed Capito to flourish as a nimble, flexible solution provider gaining significant success in this field.The next step in our evolution was to build on this new reputation of being strong technologists and solution integrators and migrate further into the world of managed services, by utilising our extensive knowledge of support, consultancy and service delivery.

Capito developed its Remote Operations Services in 2006 to provide clients with cost effective IT Infrastrcuture Support and Maintenance. The UK Operations Centre now manages in excess of 3,000 servers and 55,000 Users

Capito is now rcognised as a Managed Service provider supplying services across the UK to both the private and public sector market places.
