Capito chosen by Rise Group to manage its IT estate

Capito, one of the UK’s most innovative IT solutions provider, has been selected by Rise Group, the leading recruitment consultancy, to provide IT systems support across Rise’s entire portfolio of divisions.
The three-year contract, which is worth around £65,000, will bring a new dimension to management of the Rise IT estate, including a comprehensive service improvement programme for infrastructure and remote monitoring.
The contract win is the latest in a series of valuable deals achieved by Capito and it further enhances the company’s reputation as a trusted partner which is actively sought out by some of the most respected names in UK industry and commerce as well as the public sector.
Capito was established in Scotland in 1990. Originally a hardware reseller, it has grown and developed into one of the industry’s most nimble and flexible IT solution-based and service-led companies. It has centres of excellence in Tyneside and Birmingham as well as Aberdeen. It now directly employs 160 people across the UK.
Rise, which is now recognised as one of the most dynamic recruitment specialists in the country, has a number of divisions which will benefit from Capito’s support package.
They include: Rise Executive, dealing with multi-disciplinary middle and senior management appointments; Rise Jobs, Scotland’s leading contact centre recruitment business by volume of placements; Quality Link, a leading recruiter to the catering and hospitality sector; Rise Professions, dealing with accountancy, human resources and legal recruitment; and Rise Consulting and Payroll.

Bill also announced a substantial contract win with the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland’s primary learning facility for all aspects of the creative arts. The project involves Storage and Server Virtualisation that will add further flexibility to IT systems which Capito created for the Academy six months ago and features the new NetApp FAS2040 Filer; the first of this model to be installed in the UK.
