Capito makes two new appointments to further enhance quality of managed services

Capito, the fast-growing IT solutions provider, is announcing two significant new appointments as part of its continuing drive to provide the best possible quality of services for its clients throughout the UK.
The company has secured the services of Chris Jones and Mike Stewart as Business Development Managers at its HQ in Livingston in Central Scotland. They will focus on the managed services side of the business.
Chris joins Capito after having gained industry experience with Computacenter and Morse. He has a special understanding of the technical aspects of managed services and has recently given a presentation on IT security to the EU in Brussels. As a direct consequence of that presentation, he has been invited to the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood to brief MSPs on the urgency of IT security.
Mike joins the company from Sungard, the leading software and IT services company which specialises in managed services and hosting. He also has extensive experience with IT infrastructure specialists Campbell Lee, now the Onyx Group.
Chris and Mike will work to further develop the managed services division of Capito’s portfolio, which includes Infrastructure Management, Flexible Resourcing, Maintenance and Contract Management and the provision of its industry-beating Servicedesk.
Capito was established in Scotland in 1990. Originally a hardware reseller, it has grown and developed into one of the industry’s most nimble and flexible IT solution-based and service-led companies. It has centres of excellence in Tyneside and Birmingham as well as Aberdeen. It now directly employs 160 people across the UK.
