Capito present at ScotlandIS' Low Code and No Code Forum

Two members of Team Capito will be speaking at ScotlandIS's Software Engineering Leaders Forum (S.E.L.F.) on Wednesday, September 9th.

The quarterly S.E.L.F grouping provides a forum for software engineering leaders, CIO’s and CTO’s across the Scottish tech sector to share ideas and explore common challenges. The meetups also provide opportunities for informal mentoring and potential opportunities for joint working.

The topic for this virtual meetup is Low Code and No Code and Capito's own Mark Gibson (Managing Director) and Mark Logan (Microsoft Consultant) will outline a practical example of how we used real life deployment of Power Apps to facilitate Agile Working in response  to the COVID Crisis.

Capito have been an early adopter of Microsoft Flow and Power Apps, supporting the growing focus of ‘No Code/Low Code’ and how this might complement the traditional DevOps/Development Team.

Online via Zoom from 3pm until 4.30pm, the two Marks (Gibson and Logan) will present the business challenges and implementation using a live demo.  They will also discuss some of the implementation challenges and lessons learned in deploying these technologies to a diverse end-user group with different experience levels.  As end users are becoming more empowered through necessity, communication and training requirements also needed to be considered.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

This event is exclusively for ScotlandIS members.  If you're interested in this topic, it's a great time to sign up and see the benefits of membership for yourself.
