Important information for organisations purchasing software in Pounds Sterling.
Microsoft are putting their UK prices up on 1st January 2017.
Why are Microsoft prices going up?
This is to harmonise pricing for enterprise software and cloud services within the EU/EFTA region.
What does this mean for you?
If you purchase software in £Sterling, prices will increase as follows:
- On-premise enterprise software - 13% increase
- Most enterprise cloud solutions - 22% increase
Is there a way to avoid the price increase?
Yes, if you purchase your Microsoft software before the end of this year (Dec 2016), you will be able to secure current prices and save your organisation up to 22%. What's more, you'll be able to retain these prices for the duration of your contract (typically 12 months).
